Football or Sewing? Sometimes You Have to Make Tough Choices! 🏈🧵

Anyone who knows me knows that I LOVE football! And Sunday afternoons at 1 PM are usually reserved for sitting in front of the TV, cheering on my favorite teams, and enjoying the games.

But sometimes, even football has to take a back seat!

With two craft festivals coming up in November and Christmas right around the corner, I've been spending lots of time in my sewing room getting ready.

This Sunday, My Sewing Machine Won!

Instead of settling in to watch the 1 PM games, I had a different game plan—finish sewing 12 wine bottle gift bags! 🍷

And I'm happy to report that I reached my goal!

There was plenty of cutting, pinning, stitching, and probably a little talking to myself along the way. But that's all part of the fun of creating something handmade.

I may have missed a few touchdowns, but I scored 12 finished wine bottle bags. I'd call that a win! 🏆

A Little Something Different for Holiday Gift Giving

With the holidays approaching, I've been thinking about gifts that are both practical and a little more personal.

A bottle of wine is always a nice gift to bring to a holiday gathering, Christmas party, or dinner with friends. But instead of putting it in an ordinary paper gift bag, why not dress it up in a colorful, handmade fabric bag?

Getting Ready for November!

These wine bottle bags are just some of the creations I'll be bringing to my two upcoming November craft festivals, along with my handmade fabric accessories and cozy knitted items.

I always enjoy participating in these events. It's a chance to meet people, share what I've been creating, and hear new ideas for future projects.

And with Christmas getting closer, it's a wonderful opportunity to find something unique and handmade for someone on your gift list.
